National Incubation Center – The Hub of Startups Launches in Karachi

National Incubation Center (NIC), the fourth startup development center, which has funded by the technology fund of Government of Pakistan called Ignite, promises to support and sustain visionary incubation agendas, just like the other incubation centers in Pakistan.

Inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on the 11th of May in Karachi, and launched under the partnership of Jazz, Teamup, Ministry of IT & Telecom, and National ICT R&D Fund, this incubation center aims to target SMEs as well as the young entrepreneurs for their development and growth in the country.

What this startup incubator aims at?

The National Incubation Center has some the following objectives:

  1. It aims to develop innovative strategies for the development and growth of small and medium businesses.
  2. Eliminate the old-fashioned business tactics from the market and bring in some new creative solutions.
  3. Train young entrepreneurs and create awareness among at local, regional, and international levels.
  4. Provide quality services to the startups and businesses.
  5. Familiarize and test diverse practices and tools for the development of businesses that will help them grow.
  6. Discover engaging strategies in Karachi mainly for startups.


National Incubation Center graduates 32 innovative startups

The NIC Karachi aims to discover some talented entrepreneurs within the city to help them build better business strategies with high growth and sustainability. NIC will also help different organizations to become stable businesses that would boost Pakistan’s economy and create opportunities in Karachi.

NIC Karachi is yet another incubation center and the hub of startups that has partnered with many local and international organizations like LMKT, HBL, PTCL, PPAF, Founder Institute, i2i. Along with providing a platform to young entrepreneurs, it also focuses on VV funding and providing mentorship, incubation, and acceleration plans to the businesses.
