Memes are generally a form of comedy and pretty much a source of communication between teens in recent years. To summarize a meme in a proper definition, according to Google; a meme is an image, video, piece of text, etc., typically humorous in nature, that is copied and spread rapidly by Internet users, often with slight variations.
As a teen in the twenty-first century, I myself am a part of this weird yet interestingly captivating culture of sharing funny pictures and videos among friends and strangers alike. They surprisingly serve as a means of effective communication between teenagers all around the world.
There are certain terms which basically categorize how cool and funny the meme is or how bad and awful “try hard” funny a certain meme can be. The cool memes are referred to as “Dank memes” and the awful ones are the “Cringe memes”. Nevertheless, Dank or Cringe, these memes appeal to a wide variety of audiences and are enjoyed throughout the entire world.
